Talented dancers from secondary schools across Pembrokeshire recently competed in the Street Dance competition at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre.
The 60 or so pupils from Greenhill, Sir Thomas Picton, Tasker Milward, Milford Haven, Pembroke, and Ysgol y Preseli displayed a very high standard of dance in the annual competition.
The winners in Key Stage 3 were Lauren Smith from Pembroke School (solo), Jess and Bethan from Milford Haven School (duo/trio category), and ‘Infinity’ from Greenhill School as best team.
The Key Stage 4 winners were Zac Coles from Pembroke School (solo), Jaz and Holly from Greenhill School (duo/trio) and ‘Crisis’ from Greenhill School as best team.
The judges were Theo Salam, Zosia Dowmunt and Helen McLoughlin, whilst trophies were presented by William James from Valero.
Organised by Sport Pembrokeshire - the sports development team at Pembrokeshire County Council - the 5x60 project aims to encourage secondary school pupils to take part in extra-curricular activities, while getting fit at the same time.
