Oh, Danny boy makes a welcome return to Bridge Meadow

Danny Williams

Top notch striker Danny Williams will return to Haverfordwest County on an initial six-month loan deal from Cardiff City the club has revealed.

This is a huge fillip for the Bluebirds who are relishing the mouth-watering prospect of going to head-to-head with the big boys in the Cymru Premier, the national football league for Wales, this season.

The club released a statement: “The club are delighted to announce that Danny Williams will return to the club on an initial 6-month loan deal. Danny had a fantastic spell with the club previously, where his free scoring form earned him a permanent transfer to Cardiff City in January 2019. Danny was a regular for the Academy side and enjoyed a loan spell at Merthyr Town earlier this year.

“Danny was one of our main targets since our promotion back to the Cymru Premier and have worked tirelessly on the deal, so we are over the moon to get it over the line, and are certain Danny will make a huge impact with us during his time here.

“The club would like to extend its gratitude to Cardiff City for their support in getting the deal finalised as soon as possible, and ensuring Danny has the best preparation with us ahead of the new season.”
