Goodwick and Neyland hold nerve to win and reach Senior Cup final

Goodwick United beat Angle
2-1 and Neyland won by the same margin to reach the Senior Cup Final that will be played next Saturday, May 2 at the Conygar Bridge Meadow.
Goodwick United took the lead in the 15
th minute through a Scott Delaney header in their semi-final played at Marble Hall.
Five minutes before half time Chris Richards equalised from close range for the underdogs Angle.
The second half saw Goodwick get on top with Jonny Horgan striking a fierce drive that crashed off the crossbar.
Rhys Dalling bagged the winner in the 80
th minute as he rose highest in the box to score with a peach of a header.
Angle were reduced to ten-men when goalkeeper Luke Lawrence was sent off for deliberately fouling Dalling outside his area.
Goodwick United boss Nigel Delaney was delighted that his team held out to claim victory and will relish a final against Neyland next Saturday.

Neyland marched to their first Senior Cup final after appearance after narrowly defeating Narberth
2-1 at Monkton Lane.
After a goalless first period things certainly livened up in the second period. The Nomads opened the scoring in the 50
th minute through Wayne Parry, the striker hitting a low shot into the far corner.
Five minute later and the Nomads doubled the lead when Gary Power’s edge of the area shot deflected off Justin Blewitt and beat John Durbridge.
The Bluebirds pulled a late goal back in the 85
th minute when Ashley Williams headed in from inside the box to set-up a tense finale.
The Nomads kept their composure until the final whistle to record a brilliant victory and make history by becoming the first Neyland team to reach a Senior Cup final where they will take on red-hot favourites Goodwick United.
