Haverfordwest County 5 – Goytre 0

Steffan Williams bagged four goals, two from the spot, alongside a superb Greg Walters strike to secure three precious league points for Sean Cresser’s men.
This superb victory sees The Bluebirds return to the top of the table, a point ahead of Llanelli Town, whose game at Goytre Town was postponed, but The Reds have a game in hand. Goytre have slipped down to sixth following his heavy defeat.
Yes the result was convincing, and it has to be said that the whole team played well, with some terrific passing and movement and The Bluebirds scored five goals without reply to improve their goal difference tally.
Williams scores early
The opener was scored in the first minute, Declan Carroll’s edge of the area shot was fumbled by Goytre goalkeeper Giles Cutland and Williams gleefully prodded home.
Cutland pulled off two stunning saves to deny Dan Williams and Ricky Watts, incredibly the Bluebirds only led by one goal at half time.

The visitors started the second half brightly and Connor McFenton pulled off a good save to deny Mathew Prosser.
Leon Jeanne was a threat down the left and right back Matthew Broome had his work cut out to stop his silky skills.
The Bluebirds doubled the lead on the hour mark, left back’s Alaric Jones’ wicked cross was palmed away by Cutland only for Williams to strike a low shot in the far corner.
Eight minutes later and the Cresser’s team were awarded a penalty as Goytre skipper Kristian Wharton fouled Dan Williams. Steff Williams sent Cutland the wrong way to secure his hat-trick.
Walters scores a cracker
