Warriors show off new kit at the Meadow

 Cleddau Warriors Football Club in their new kit prior to the West Wales disability football league Cleddau Warriors Football Club hosted the West Wales disability football league at Haverfordwest’s Bridge Meadow Stadium recently.
 
Teams involved were Bridgend Herons, Swansea City Bravehearts, Aberystwyth Stars and Cleddau Warriors.
 

Matches galore in three sections

 
Matches were played in three ability bandings, Champions League, Premiership and Championship and referred by Huw Bevan, Delwyn Lewis and Ian Eynon.
 
Prior to the tournament, Cleddau Warriors were presented with a new kit which was sponsored by Robert Davies of Penfro Consultants and Rory O’Hanlon Tees R Us Pembroke Dock

Pembrokeshire County Council Disability Sport Development Officer Angela Miles said they looked the part on such a stage:
 
“It was fantastic for the West Wales league to be played on such a superior ground as Bridge Meadow and a huge thank you to Haverfordwest County AFC for their support on the day with refreshments.
 
“The players looked good and played even better on the pitch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience on playing on the Bridge Meadow.”
 

Rob presents certificates to all

 
After the tournament, all players were presented with certificates by Rob Davies commercial director of Haverfordwest County AFC, who also presented the player of the tournament from each group.
 
The recipients were:
 
Championship: Lewis Davies (Bridgend Herons)
Premiership: Chris McFetrich (Bridgend Herons)
Champions League: Kerry Baker (Bridgend Herons)
