A Goodwick United legend that has led the club to many successes over the years, including the 2015/16 treble. Has played and managed in countless Senior Cup Finals over the years and will be looking to add another trophy to the collection. Nigel has also had huge success with the Llanelli Veterans this season, and this is testament to his commitment and passion for the game!
2. Niall Kinsella, 30, Pharmacist - Assistant Manager
Won the Division 3 league title with Goodwick United in his first season in management. Niall has represented Goodwick United, West Dragons, Fishguard Sports and Clarbeston Road across the top two divisions over several seasons. His second Senior Cup Final after being part of the 2013 West Dragons team that came Runners Up. He’ll be looking to go one better this time out!
3. Matthew Fox, 43, Account Director - Coach
His first season as part of the new set up at the club and has made a cracking impression within the club. One of the top coaches in the Pembrokeshire Leagues, and returns for his third Cup Final. Foxy was integral in the 2024 Final where he led Clarbeston Road to glory (over Goodwick United) and will be itching to add to that success this time round!
4. Adam Bowen, 27, Dig Support, Welsh Water- Team Helper
The current Reserve Team Manager, who was Niall’s right hand man in their successes last season, and has more than held his own in his debut season as Manager. Has come in to support the First Team on numerous times this season and is a respected person around the club!
5. Scott Delaney, 31, Tree Surgeon - Captain, Defender
One of the most consistent centre backs in the league over the last decade, with every trophy to show for it. Playing in his 6th final, Scott is a huge player for Goodwick United in both boxes. Brilliant in the air and on the deck, Scott will be looking to lead his team to victory once again.
6.
Jake Smith, 25, Electrician - Vice Captain, Midfielder
Since signing for the club for his second spell, Jake has been hugely important to the way the team plays. His engine and ability to win the ball back all over the pitch has been instrumental to the team’s success over the last few seasons. Promoted to vice captain at the start of the season, Jake is a popular and vocal player in the team, and if he plays well the team plays well.
7. Nicholas Jones, 26, Police Constable - Goalkeeper
A first Senior Cup Final for Nick Jones and thoroughly deserved after a superb Semi Final display. A league winner for the first time with the club last season, Nick’s physical presence commanding his box and distribution are a huge asset for the team. Nick has also represented the Welsh Police team this season, another big accolade!
8. Dan Devine, 42, Multi-Skilled Operator, First Milk - Goalkeeper
A new signing at the start of the season that has played in both the First and Second Teams and been outstanding for both. Dan has been a hugely reliable support and slotted into important fixtures when called upon. Played in both derby matches and pulled off cracking saves and demonstrated his ability to take the ball under pressure.
9. Josh Wood, 25, Procurement Manager - Defender
Playing in his fourth Final and first for Goodwick United. Josh joined the club this season from Clarbeston Road (where he won the Cup in 2024) and has been an ever-present all campaign. Proven himself to be one of the most reliable full backs in the league, Josh will be looking to use his attacking and defensive strengths to help the team win the match at both ends of the pitch.
10. Ross Jones, 23, Welder - Defender
Another new signing this season who faces his former team in the final after playing for them in the 2023 Final. Has bedded his way into a good run of form of late and put on a solid display in the Quarter and Semi Finals to nullify the opponents’ attacking threats. A fantastic header of the ball and will run through a brick wall for the cause!
11. Stefan Hayes, 29, Plumber - Defender
Stefan ‘Terry’ Hayes, who at 29 is already a club legend and one of the most decorated players in the club’s history. Solid in the tackle, Stef has man-marked opponents out of games on numerous occasions, and will do a job at centre back as well as his normal full back role. His greatest weapon is that long throw which was served as an important asset in big games!
12. Tyler Morris, 20, Apprentice Bricklayer - Defender
Another one off the conveyer belt of that Goodwick United Under 16 team that won the league and cup. Tyler has developed into a solid and reliable player, with many years of First Team football ahead of him. Quick, fit and hard in the tackle, Tyler can slot in at Full Back or down the Right Wing. Has had great success winning the Division 3 League and Cup in recent seasons, and will be looking to kick on and cement a First Team place soon.
13. Tyler Booker, 26, Scaffolder - Defender/Midfielder
Tyler is the type of player that will always give 100% no matter what, and knows how to roll his sleeves up when the going gets tough. Again, has slotted into the First Team when needed and done brilliantly. Can play in midfield or at the back, Tyler certainly won’t shirk a challenge or a task, and will stand up for the team if called upon.
14. Sion O’Sullivan, 27, Groundworker - Midfielder
Sion has stepped up in the big games this season and been outstanding in the midfield, especially against Merlins Bridge in the Last 16 and in the Semi Final. Calm on the ball and impeccable fitness, Sion adds another dimension to the midfield. A third Cup Final appearance, Sion will be looking to add another to the collection. As well as his playing, Sion has had great success in coaching the Under 15 team alongside Niall and Wayne, and demonstrated huge commitment to the club!
15. Rhys Jones, 28, Bricklayer - Midfielder
Since signing for the club, Rhys has been at the heart of, and contributed hugely to, three Division One titles and a Senior Cup victory. Somewhat of a set piece specialist, Rhys certainly knows where the back of a net is from a dead ball. A hugely talented attacking midfielder that will be looking to get on the scoresheet and create chances for his front three.
16. Alex O’Sullivan, 23, Bricklayer & Personal Trainer - Midfielder
Last season’s Second Team Player of the Season, and someone that gives 100% for the team everytime he walks onto a pitch. A combative and destructive presence, who will run all day. Does his job well in the midfield and keeps things simple when on the ball. Alex has stepped up numerous times in the Senior Cup and Division One this season and performed fantastically. Alex has had huge success in the last few years with his boxing, winning Welsh Titles and winning huge fights!
17. Ben Adams, 31, Painter & Decorator - Midfielder/Forward
Affectionately known as the ‘hot shot’ to his team mates, Ben has had a few successful spells and will be aiming to continue that trend at this Cup Final. Previously used as a full back, Benno has mostly played as a holding midfielder this season. His cool and calm head, passing ability and reading of the game enable him to protect the back four and start the play for us going forward. Banging in double figures last year for Pennar Robins, Ben has also been used as a number 9 for us, and showed his prowess in the Semi Final, putting on a fantastic display as the front man.
18. Rhys Dalling, 34, Tree Surgeon - Forward
Another immense semi-final performance, with a goal and an assis,t for arguably Goodwick United’s best-ever striker. 15 years of consistency that has earned Rhys a huge reputation throughout West Wales. A treble winner who is aiming for his fourth Senior Cup victory. A goalscorer in Senior Cup and West Wales Cup finals, and on his day will scare the best of defences. Another win this time out will certainly solidify his status within the club and the Pembrokeshire Leagues.
19. Will Haworth, 28, Assistant Manager, Fix Auto Pembrokeshire - Forward
A serial winner and a man for the big occasions. Will has demonstrated his commitment and consistency by only missing one fixture in four seasons. Will always gives everything to the cause and his attacking capabilities are matched by his workmate off the ball and is a headache for any full back. Will continues the family legacy, with Brother Laurie and Dad Adrian, who have also won the cup, and will be aiming to win his fourth Senior Cup.
20. Jonny Horgan, 37, Bricklayer - Forward
Another treble winner who has shown fantastic longevity. A serial winner wherever he has played and has had successful spells at Merlins Bridge and West Dragons, but it is at Goodwick where Jonny has thrived. Underrated in some people’s opinions, Jonny has gone on to be Goodwick’s joint most successful player alongside Scott and Stefan. His left foot and pace is still very effective and will be a huge asset to the team whether he plays on the left or through the middle.
21. Guto Roberts, 26, Leakage Engineer, Welsh Water - Forward
Guto joined us at the start of the season and made a huge impact scoring the winner against Hakin in the Jubilee Cup. A talented left footed forward, Guto can play anywhere in the front three. Impressive displays in previous rounds, Guto has integrated himself well into the team and is a popular member of the squad. Guto will be hoping to cap off his first season with success and hopefully can repeat his heroics from the Jubilee Cup.
22. Kieran Blundell, 21, Utilities Engineer - Forward
Kieran re-joined the club for his second spell during the season. A league winner with the club in his first season, Kieran is aiming for his first Senior Cup win. A right sided forward, that can beat a man and score from any angle. Coming off the back of a bad injury, Kieran has built himself back up to full fitness and is a very useful tool for the team coming in off the right hand side.
23. Tom Jago, 26, Royal Army - Forward
‘Jago’ joined the club after the start of the season from The Wizards and has scored goals and assists for us in the League and Cups. A hardworking, athletic and powerful striker, Tom is a brilliant number 9 that knows how to lead the line. A first Cup Final for Jago, and hopefully a first of many at the club.
