After 15 years of playing football for local clubs Lawrenny and Carew, Stefan started his refereeing journey in 2020 and was involved in the senior cup finals in 2023 as AR2 when brother Sion was in the middle and in 2024 as AR1 when Neill Crawshaw was in the middle and finally as referee in the 2025 final between Hakin and Milford United.
Stefan is a Tier 2 nominee referee and is currently part of the CORE Cymru referees’ group and regularly officiates in games at Tier 3 (referee) and Tuer 2 (AR) and recently refereed the Ardal South Cup Semi Final.
A deputy headteacher at Pembroke Dock Community School, Stefan is also a keen cricketer, who plays his cricket for Cresselly CC in the summer month.

At the age of 14 Ioan began his refereeing journey with his local club, developing a passion for the game inspired by his late grandfather.
By 17, he progressed into senior football within the Pembrokeshire League, continuing to build his experience on the pitch and his commitment and development have recently been recognised with promotion to Level 3B.
He has also gained valuable experience as an assistant referee on multiple occasions in both the Ardal South-West League and the Macron West Wales Premier League.
Away from refereeing, Ioan works as an IT Technician at Pembrokeshire College. He is also a dedicated Swansea City supporter and is actively involved in coaching junior football at Hundleton AFC.
In his spare time, Ioan enjoys relaxing and listening to music.

Alan started playing junior football for Johnston FC and progressing into the senior team with some great players and at 34 decided it was time for me to let the younger players have my position when he and his brother Roy were put forward by our club to do the referees’ course and just thought it was a excuse to have a pint for six Friday evenings!
And after completing the course he started to ref 26 years ago and, on most days, still enjoys it!
The highlight was definitely doing the Senior Cup final with his two brothers Deano and Roy, who was the ref; a great day for the family and making history too as this had never been done before, with three of the same family officiating a final.
I’m looking forward to working with Tudor and the boys on Saturday, where hopefully everything goes well.
He also went on to ref in the Welsh league for 18 seasons before the travel got too much, and is now just concentrating on doing Pembrokeshire League – and producing top performances like he did in this season’s semi-final.
