County Schools’ Under 11s again welcome Joe Allen

Pembrokeshire County Schools’ Football Association held their end of season presentation at Heatherton on Saturday, thanks to the generosity of Mr Charles Davies.Once again former Pembrokeshire schools’ player Joe Allen - now a Premier League player with Swansea City was guest of honour. After another great season, winning the Southern League Group One convincingly, and reaching the semi-final of the Welsh Schools’ ‘Tom Yeoman Shield’ competition, Joe presented the boys who played at Wrexham with their well- deserved certificates.

Special recognition and thanks

All squad players were then presented with Pembrokeshire County Schools’ bootbags as a thank you for all the effort they had put in over the season.  Coach Angie Nicholls thanked fellow coach Mark Hicks and goalkeeper coach Bernard Steer and all parents for their loyal support over the season.

Joe kindly posed for photos and signed autographs for the boys before being presented with a Pembrokeshire County Schools’ Cap and a ‘thank you’ gift by Max Brindley.
