a champion season
Crymych RFC recently held its annual dinner where the double of Division Three (West) champions and Pembrokeshire Cup winners was properly celebrated by all at the club, as was the Griffiths Cup win by the under 18s and the successes from the junior section at the Pembrokeshire Junior Finals’ Day.
The award winners, who received their trophies from retiring WRU District H Director Johnnie Jones, were as follows:
Player of the Year - John Davies.
Players’ Player - Rhys Davies.
Supporters' Player of the Year - John Davies.
Most Promising - Ianto Griffiths.
Most Improved - Richard Sharpe-Williams.
Top Try Scorer - Rhodri Davies.
Top Points Scorer - Ianto Griffiths.
Top Trainer - Rhys Davies.
Clubman of the Year - Peter John.
2nd XV Player of the Year - Cefin Vaughan.
Most Improved 2nd Team Player - Ben Richmond.
Youth Player of the Year - Sion Rowlands.
Youth Player's Player - Gruffudd Howells.
Youth Most Improved - Amir Jiwa Waji.
Youth Top Try Scorer - Gavin Thomas.
Hedd Davies Memorial Cup - Junior Team of the Year - U15's.
