Badminton News:
Jordan enjoys a senior win treble
16 year old Jordan Hart continues to make a name for herself in the badminton world as she travelled to the National Sports Centre in Cardiff for the recent Welsh Senior Championships and returned home with winners’ medals in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Playing against much older opponents certainly doesn’t seem to faze Jordan because she beat Helen Stoddart in the ladies’ singles finals and then joined forces with Jo Sullivan to win the ladies’ doubles, followed by success in the mixed doubled with Nick Strange.
The victories were all the more creditable because Jordan has fought back from a bad back and is currently in the middle of her GCSE exams.
She now has a month of training, and further physio, before she represents Wales in the under 19 section of the Youth Commonwealth Games, which are due to take place in the Isle of Man in June.
PembrokeshireSport.co.uk wishes this modest and likeable young lady further success there, as reward for her continued 100% commitment to her sport!
