Pembrokeshire are Welsh Counties Short Mat Final Winners!

Huge congratulations are due to the Pembrokeshire Short Mat Bowls Team team who travelled to Llandrindod Wells on Sunday, 3rd April 2011, to take on Ceredigion and West Glamorgan in the Welsh Counties Final.
Some great games were played against both teams, and it was a close competition between Pembrokeshire and West Glamorgan in particular. Pembrokeshire beat Ceredigion 25-7 and beat West Glam in the final round of games 20-12. Pembrokeshire last won the county final in 2005, and will now go on to represent Wales in the inter-county championship in Cheshire in December 2011.
