Can Matthew Price beat the Expert? (Week Four)

 

All square as The Expert is finally declared the winner!

 

The Expert kindly gave a second bite of the cherry to ‘Priceless’ but once again it finished all square at 2-2. “That ‘Priceless’ guy has got some cheek – asking for another chance – can’t he accept defeat? Well it’s all over now and I am the winner,”  said The Expert. There is always next season and as the The Experts says, “I look forward to our re-match.” Yes it was a close affair – but as ‘Priceless' is well aware the cream always rises to the top. It’s been a long hard season and The Expert needs a summer off to re-charge his batteries. Roll on next season.

 

Now ‘Priceless’ wants even more chances!

 

After Matthew Price’s 4-4 draw with The Expert again on Saturday, we at PembrokeshireSport.co.uk thought the tipping season was over and although The Expert isn’t one to boast we could tell that he was quietly pleased to have accounted for his old adversary by 15-14.
But then up pops an e-mail from ‘Priceless’ asking if he could have another chance in tipping the three games on Thursday evening – and not content with that bit of cheek he even asked if their forecasts for the Senior Cup could also be considered!

‘Priceless’ told us.
            “I am only just a point behind so there is still all to play for, and I hope he will be a gentleman and allow me this extra round, in the midweek trio of fixtures so I have a fair chance.
Due to the lack of games, I am hoping that the Expert will also include the Senior Cup Final in this set of predictions! I know that we are both going for Haverfordwest, but predicting the correct score can make all the difference (to me)! Having lost twice in the final as a favourite, I know that anything can happen on the day, and I think that Haverfordwest will win!)

This really caused The Expert to snort the word ‘desperation’ but after a lengthy attempt at calming the old codger down we think we just about managed to convince him that allowing this Thursday’s games to count was a chance to show just what a great sportsman he is, after the veiled ‘cheat’ allegations the previous week!

** Will The Expert agree to the Senior Cup Final being included as well as the league matches? He said he would let us know before Thursday! **

Home advantage is crucial here and I have to go for a home win!
