Ladies Anglers – Wales needs you!
The qualifier matches for the WFSA Ladies Sea Angling Team start in March and we are looking for new competitors to come and join us!
To be eligible to compete you need to be born in Wales or have lived in Wales for three years, or have Welsh parents or grandparents, and be a member of a club that is affiliated to the WFSA.
Training and support given
If you have limited match fishing experience then don’t worry because we will be holding a series of training sessions which will help you to learn new skills and develop existing skills. We are looking for people who are good at fishing for flounder and bass (this will be the main species for the World Championships). We need people who are able to work as part of a team and who are willing to learn and develop their fishing skills – a full training programme can be provided to support you.

This year’s selection process will form the team for 2012, when the team will travel to England for the annual international against the English Ladies’ Shore team and the Netherlands for the World Championships.
