Matthew Price confident he will win‘Beat The Expert’ feature: Week 5 : football fixtures for 28th November 2009

Pricey pinches a point from The Expert

Matthew Price pinched a point off The Expert as bad weather played a part once more in last week’s local football. Pricey, in confident mood, is now very confident that he can win well in the final week with his two-point advantage. The Expert needs to draw on all his skill if he is to snatch the verdict out of the fire in this, the final week.

“If it hadn't been for so many games being postponed I would have definitely finished Pricey off by now..

“Pricey is so frightened that he has gone for the form horses again on Saturday but I’ll hold my nerve well – as he will find out on the weekend!”

Will Pricey hold hedge home or will he crash, like his team did in West Wales recently? Or will the Expert show his class again and pip Pricey at the finish line. All will be revealed after Saturday’s final showdown!

Goodwick United 7 - Fishguard Sports 0

Pricey and his Assistant’s Predictions

Division One:

West Wales Cup:

CMB 0 - Narberth 2
CMB are top of the Neath League’s second section so they might just be a good team –but I still go for a Narberth win.

Johnstown 2 - Neyland 0
Johnstown are seventh in the Carmarthenshire Premier League whilst Neyland are going through a bad run so I have to go for Johnstown in this one.

Division One:

Hakin United 2 - Tenby 0
This is a real tough one but I think Hakin can beat Tenby on the Obs. Tenby are a good young side but Hakin at home – they are a hard side to beat!

Merlins Bridge 3 - Monkton Swifts 1
This is a top versus bottom clash but we won’t be taking them for granted – but I think we can win this one.

Clarbeston Road 1- Pennar Robins 3
Pennar are a good side and they have only lost to us. Clarbire are not on top form so I think the Robins will win here.

Senior Cup:

Goodwick United 3 - Fishguard Sports 1
A real local derby where form could go out of the window since Goodwick aren’t playing well at home – but I still have to for them, though.

Haverfordwest County 2 - Kilgetty 1
Haverfordwest County have been playing really well so I have to go for them – but I believe it will be closer than some people think.

Herbrandston 3 - Solva 2
A really tough one to predict because both can play really well or badly, as Herbie proved when they drew 4-all with Tenby. They have home advantage, which could be decisive.

Prendergast Villa 2 - Hundleton 1
This is the hardest of all – can lightning strike twice for Hundleton. They have lots of experience in the right place but the Villa have improved of late – so I go for the home side here.
