A team from Pembrokeshire Pony Club won the Area Show Jumping and Eventing competitions to qualify for the Land Rover Pony Club Championships held at Rectory Farm, Gloucestershire.


It was the first time for all members of the team to compete at this level and competition was fierce, with over 40 teams and 160 individuals competing.

So the team of Sophie Jamieson, Sophie Townsend, Elinor Luke and Caitlin Thomas was understandably delighted to take home third place for tack and turnout and overall fourth place in a very close championship contest.

 
Individually Sophie Townsend and Elinor Luke went through to the final jump off and against 38 other finalists Elinor, riding ‘Penty Parc Peters Boy’ won the overall championship.
