Pembroke Junior Netball Club - Charity Match 2017

Pembroke Junior Netball Club recently held their Fun Charity Match for parents against their talented Under15 players to have an enjoyable end of season and to raise funds for a worthwhile charity.

Pembroke Junior Netball Club This year’s charity is CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services), and final donations are still being collected and the final total will be announced at the Clubs Awards night on Sunday July 2nd.

The Cox family led by example

The two captains were mother and daughter, Michelle and Emma Cox, who sadly finishes after seven years with club.

The previous two seasons saw  the parents win, but this year the U15s  were simply to strong, fit and fast for their mothers and won convincingly 12-6.

The U15 Players voted for the best parent player and it was Collette Waters who earned that honour.

Thanks go to all the parent and players who took part – they were all great sports and even better was the fact that no parents had to be transported to Accident and Emergency!
