Jordan's on top of the world in Barbados

Jordan Hart has notched one of the best tournament results of her career by winning the Carebaco International event in Barbados.

Jordan, , from Pembroke Dock, beat Finland’s Airi Mikkela in the final in straight games (21-15 and 21-16), and has now reached a new career high world ranking of 89.

She also reached the semi-finals in the mixed doubles with England’s Sam Parsons, eventually taking bronze.

What a great week it’s been

“It’s been a great week,” she told ‘PembrokeshireSport.co.uk’

“I’m excited to come away champion after beating players ranked above me in the semi-final and final.

"I also have to mention Capital Roasters and FZ Forza UK as without their help, and that of my coach, I wouldn’t have been able to travel to Barbados."
