Steve's a star with 'Young Bluebirds'!

Steve Batty was a classy full back in his own footballing career and it is a philosophy he has carried in to his coaching career at Haverfordwest County because the talented young players from all over the county who have come under his guidance have continued his wish to play good quality, as well as winning, football!
As a result, the 'Young Bluebirds' did very well in the old McWhirter League and Cup (Reaching the final on a couple of occasions), whilst his current players in the Development Squad at the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium are doing really well under Steve's watchful eye.
He is a very nice guy but his youngsters assure us that if their play does not meet his demading standards he lets them know in no uncertain terms! |
