 Plenty of action as season is drawing to a closeAs the season is fast coming to a close there has still been plenty of action this week in the Pembrokeshire Football League First Division.
 
On Tuesday, Narberth drew 1-1 at home against Neyland. Ashley Williams gave the Bluebirds the lead, but the Nomads equalised through Sean Hannon.
 
Wednesday, Goodwick United lost 0-3 at home against West Dragons. Striker Ashley Prior (2) and Craig George scored for the visitors.
 
Thursday, Angle won 4-3 at home against Narberth. Connor Willis (2), Chris Richards and Thomas Grimwood netted for the homesters, whilst Ashley Williams scored a brilliant hat trick and still finished on the losing side.
 
There were three games played on Saturday and the stand out result was Narberth thrashing the champions Hakin United 9-2 at Jesse Road. The Vikings played a second string outfit as the Bluebirds took full advantage with goals by Matthew Price (3), Liam Phillips (2), Calum O’Connell, Jordan Williams, Tony Evans penalty and an own goal. The Vikings replied through Nigel Armstrong and Alex Greenish.

Rhys Dalling (2), Wayne O’Sullivan and Jonny Horgan scored for Goodwick United who won 4-2 at home against relegated Saundersfoot Sports. Ryan Howells and Jason Bridges scored for the visitors.
 
Johnston lost 2-4 at home against Pennar Robins. It was a day for scoring braces at Glebelands. Adam Hawkins scored twice for the Tigers and there were two goals apiece for Pennar’s Gareth Lewis and Richard Hughes.
