Raymond Lillicrop (Milford Haven) and Jonathan Hubbard (Kilgetty) have been selected to represent Wales’ triples bowls team at an Eight-Nations International Para Sport event on the Gold Coast in Australia.

They are joined in the triples team by Pauline Wilson (Radnor) and are part of a Welsh squad of 24 athletes travelling to Australia in an event that is a warm-up to the 2017 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games later in the year.

Wonderful experience

The other nations are two Australian teams, Scotland, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Canada.

Angela Miles, Disability Sport Officer for Pembrokeshire, said:
“It’s fantastic to have two representatives from Pembrokeshire going out to the Gold Coast with the Welsh squad and we wish them every success and are sure they will have a great time.”
