On Sunday, 9^th August, Llanion Warriors Rowing Club  will be hosting their second WSRA (Welsh Sea Rowing Association) Race Day, based at the Watersports Centre on Warrior Way.
 
Racing starts at 11am, with teams from coastal towns as far afield as Anglesey to Barry participating in a series of Ladies’, Men’s, Junior, Novice and mixed races. The course takes the rowers up river to Lawrenny and Benton Castle, with the start/ finish line being off the public slipway at Watersports.
 
The Club will be holding a BBQ and will have a cake stall with tea and coffee on site in the tented village. A number of community-based groups will also be represented on the day, to publicise their activities. Spectators are cordially invited to come along to watch the racing and enjoy the refreshments on offer.
