Herbrandston are definitely enjoying themselves back in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division.

Last season’s Second Division champions picked up their third win on the trot to stay top of the table.
Herbrandston won convincingly 6-0 at Angle; the home outfit were promoted as Second Division runners-up last season, bagging the goals for the visitors were Tom Arnold, Daniel Munn, Scott Reid, Shane Walsh, Chris Darlington and Hadyn Dimond.

Champions Hakin United, have also hit the ground running, emphatically winning 9-0 at Monkton Swifts. Scoring the goals for the Vikings were Nicky Woodrow (3), Ashley Bevan (2), Matthew Broome, Adam Davies, Gareth Fawcett and James Stanmore.

Tenby are third in the table after winning 2-0 against Merlins Bridge at The Racecourse. Two first half strikes from Joe Leahy sealed their second win of the campaign.

Fourth placed Goodwick United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory at Pennar Robins. Stephen Evans and Jonny Horgan both netted goals in the second period.

Adam Hawkins scored a brace for Johnston who defeated Narberth 2-0 at home. This game was delayed for 20 minutes as The Bluebirds forgot to take their kit to The Glebelands Ground.

Neyland won 6-1 at home against bottom of the table West Dragons. Sean Hannon (2), Leigh Power, Gary Power, Aaron McQuillan and Andrew Kemp found the back of the net for The Nomads. Jordan Thomas scored the visitors’ only goal.

St Clears left it late to narrowly beat Saundersfoot Sports 1-0 at home. Striker Steve Thomas scrambled home the winner in the 89th minute.
