Haverfordwest County have parted company with Sean Cresser when the club announced the news earlier this week.

The Bluebirds have had a faultless start to the season, but the timing of the departure of manager Sean Cresser will leave  a lot of head scratching by the fans at the Conygar Bridge Meadow.

Cresser was assistant manager at the club for four seasons and last season when he was solely in charge The Bluebirds finished in very creditable runners up in Welsh League Division One.

The club released a statement: “Haverfordwest County have parted company with manager Sean Cresser quoting differences of opinions on several important issues.

“Although the club made a good start to the season on the field of play, it was the opinion of the board that, at this stage, a new style of management was required.

“The club would like to thank Sean for his hard work and loyalty over the past six years.”
