Goodwick, Lamphey, Neyland, Pennar and Narberth seal wins and Vikings progress in FAW Trophy

There were six games completed in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division and Hakin United also progressed in the FAW Trophy.

Milford United lost 0-4 at home to league leaders Goodwick United who have gone three points clear, finding the back of the net for the visitors were Jordan Griffiths, Kieran O’Brien, Scott Delaney and Stephen Dockerty.

Neyland moved up to second in the table after thrashing Monkton Swifts 7-1 at home. Nomads’ Wayne Parry and Kieron Howells scored a hat-trick apiece and Max Bowman-Davies also scored the visitors’ only goal was scored by Matthew Davies.

Carew drew 3-3 at home against Merlins Bridge, Jack Christopher netted a first half hat-trick against his old team mates, but The Wizards fought back for a share of the spoils with goals from Matthew D’Ivry, Ashley Beck and Luke Hayward.

Herbrandston lost 1-4 at home against Lamphey. The visitors’ hero was striker Anthony Webb who completed a brilliant hat-trick alongside a Billy Davis strike, Alex Ouzman scored the homesters solitary goal.

Pennar Robins picked up their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory against Clarbeston Road at Bush Camp. Phil John and Paul Sly netted for the homesters, and Matthew Davies scored for The Road.

West Dragons lost 1-2 against Narberth at the Pavilion Ground. Dafydd Wright and Morgan Preece netted for the delighted Bluebirds, and Daryl Mansbridge scored with a penalty.

In the FAW Trophy third round rearranged game, Cwmcarn Athletic lost 1-8 at home to Hakin United. Nicky Woodrow and Ben Fawcett each claimed a hat-trick and Justin Harding and Justin Harding and Jack Wilson also added their names to the triumphant visitors’ scoresheet.
