Haverfordwest County 2 – Aberbargoed Buds 0

Haverfordwest County gained a comfortable two-goal victory against Aberbargoed Buds at the Conygar Bridge Meadow to comfortably progress in the Welsh Cup.

Both goals came in the first half and were scored by stand-in striker Kristian Speake and midfielder Ricky Watts.

The opener was scored in the 11th minute, Speake ghosting in at the far post and making no mistake with a neat header.

Cracking goal

The second goal was a cracker scored in the 32nd minute; Greg Walters’ back header fell kindly for Watts who struck a first time an unstoppable 25 yard drive which flew in the top corner.
