League leaders Phoenix Lads go marching on
Goodwick United 3 – Clarbeston Road 0
League pace setters Goodwick United picked up a comfortable three-goal victory against Clarbeston Road at Phoenix Park.
Incredibly the Phoenix Lads have won five games in a row and haven’t conceded a goal.
Clarby Road who are in third place put up a gallant effort much to the pleasure of player boss Matthew Ellis.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 13
th minute, Nathan Greene nodded home Iestyn Evans’ ball in the box.
In the 39
th minute Greene bagged his second of the afternoon after being set-up by Rhys Dalling.
Five minutes after the break, Dalling broke through for goal number three. In 57
th minute the hosts were awarded a penalty when Dalling saw his well struck effort brilliantly saved by Road keeper David Pepper.
Goodwick United boss will be pleased his team won and as a defender himself will feel delighted they kept a clean sheet.

Six-goal thriller at Monkton Lane
Monkton Swifts 3 – Fishguard Sports 3
This was one hell of a game as Monkton Swifts came from three goals down to salvage a point when they could have snatched victory right at the death at Monkton Lane.
It’s a cliché but this certainly was a game of two halves. The Sports opened the scoring in the 13
th minute when Anthony Couzens won a 50/50 with keeper Taylor Gullam as he bundled the ball into the net.
In the 33
rd minute the Sports bagged a fortuitous second as Karl Hedley’s cum cross took a deflection via the net.
The third was a cracker, Jordan Raymond, Sean Seymour-Davies, and Steve Davies combined as the latter’s telling cross was headed home by Hedley.
However, sixteen minutes from full time the Swifts mounted a serious fightback. Jimmy Wilkes scored from a tight angle. Player boss Jimmy Russell was taken out by Billy Moore inside the box for a stonewall penalty which Dylan Davies converted.
Wilkes hit the target to level matters, then Dean Hopson pulled off a stunning save to deny Davies on the stroke of full time, so the Sports just managed to keep their unbeaten record intact.
Monkton Swifts: T. Gullam, R. Eynon, S. Meaney, R. Davies, J. Russell, M. Carroll, J. Clarke, J. Finnegan, D. Davies, J. Wilkes, G. Finnegan.
