Jordan Thomas in possession for Merlins Bridge, the 16-year-old made his debut for the WizardsMerlins Bridge and Goodwick go joint top of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division table after picking up wins against Pennar Robins and Lamphey respectively, with champions Hakin United narrowly losing out at West Dragons.

Starting at the Racecourse where Merlins Bridge won 1-0 against Pennar Robins, the only goal of the game was scored in the second period by striker Nathan Greene.

Lamphey lost 2-3 at home against Goodwick United, Jordan Griffiths bagged a brace alongside a Chris O’Sullivan effort, The Stags replied with a brace from Sam Southcott.

West Dragons beat champions Hakin United 2-1 at the Pavilion Fields, Adam John gave the Vikings the lead, but Dragons hit back through a goal by Daniel Bryce, in the second half both side’s created chances, but the winner was scored by Jordan Richards that secured the Dragons a memorable victory.

Henry Durrant wins this aerial battle for Neyland against CarewClarbeston Road edged a 2-1 victory against Herbrandston, Steff Thomas and Jason Griffiths hit the target for the Road, and Jason Clarke scored for the visitors.

Monkton Swifts comfortably eased past Milford United with a 4-1 win at Monkton Lane. The Swifts’ goal scorers were Daniel Scourfield, Thomas Powell, Blake James and Shaun Jones; Taku Padiwa grabbed the Robins’ solitary goal.

Narberth claimed an impressive 4-1 win over Angle at Jesse Road. Ben John, Dylan Davies, Ashley Williams and Callum O’Connell all scored for the rampant Bluebirds, and Chris Richards scored for the well beaten visitors.

Neyland found their form with an impressive 3-1 win at home against Carew, grabbing goals for the Nomads were Patrick Hannon, Mikey Chandler and Geraint Rees. The Rooks’ only effort was scored in the form of an own goal.
