Throughout June Clunderwen YFC has been involved in a variety of sporting events, setting out against other county clubs in the annual rugby tournament, where they came a respectable 4th and Marc Beasley was selected to be part of the county squad that will compete in the Welsh YFC Rugby Championships during the week of the Royal Welsh Show.

Secondly saw the annual Pembrokeshire YFC Sports Day, where there were lots of excellent results for Clunderwen which included winning the junior dodgeball, first in junior rounders, third in mixed hockey and third in netball.

Welsh Sports day successes

This was followed by the Welsh YFC Sports Day which was held in Aberystwyth where Angharad Dugmore, Nia Bevan, Cai Phillips, Will Davies, Ifan Rees, Ffion Lewis, Keeley Phillips, Cerys John and Dafydd Gibby were successful in their selection for the Pembrokeshire  junior rounders and dodgeball teams.

Stephanie Morgan, Lisa Davies, Alastair Coates and Jono Roberts were selected to represent Pembrokeshire in the mixed hockey and were awarded fourth place. But the highlight of the day had to be on the netball court, with Pembrokeshire YFC gaining a silver award in the Welsh Championships after some excellent play and leadership from Rebecca and Laura Jones from Clunderwen.
