Busy Saturday afternoon with plenty of league and cup action around the county

There was Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division, West Wales Intermediate Cup and Senior Cup action on a busy Saturday afternoon for local clubs.
Starting in
First Division, Angle drew
2-2 with Herbrandston at home, Josh Clarke netted twice for the homesters and the visitors salvaged a draw thanks to Scott Reid also scoring twice.
West Dragons thumped Clarbeston Road
5-2 at the Pavilion Field. The Dragons scorers were Ashley Prior with a brilliant hat-trick and Daniel Bryce scored twice from the spot, in reply, Tom Reubens and Matthew Davies netted for the well beaten Road.
In the
Senior Cup 2nd round tie, St Ishmaels lost 1-3 at home against Neyland. Lewy Davies scored for Tish, but The Nomads secured victory with a brace from Jonathan Harris and Wayne Parry.
In the
West Wales Intermediate Cup – Round 2, Hakin United thrashed Dafen Welfare
6-1 at home. There was a brace each for Nicky Woodrow and Adam John, and one apiece for Ryan Wilson and Justin Harding.
At the Racecourse, Merlins Bridge won
4-2 against Penclawdd. Will Haworth scored twice alongside solitary goals by Adam Hawkins and Nathan Greene.
Kilvey Fords lost
0-3 at home against Goodwick United. Jonny Horgan, Kieran O’Brien and Jordan Griffiths scored for the successful Phoenix Lads.
Glynneath Town lost
1-4 at home against Carew, The Rooks’ striker Sam Christopher bagged a superb hat-trick alongside a solitary goal from Rob Whitfield.
