Haverfordwest County 0 – Taffs Well 0

Haverfordwest County will consider this result as two points dropped as they drew with Taffs Well at the Conygar Bridge Meadow.

Despite the game finishing goalless, both teams tried to their hardest to find the back of the net, but on the day it was defences that came out on top.

The Bluebirds went into this clash with Taffs Well without regular full backs Antonio Fucciuto and Matthew Broome, they were replaced by Spencer Williams and Greg Walters, the latter moving from centre midfield.

Matters got worse for The Bluebirds when they also lost striker Ashley Bevan, who tweaked a hamstring, and they will be hoping that he will be fit again after the three week festive break.

The visitors had the better of the 90 minutes, and would have travelled back possibly thinking that this was three points lost rather than a point gained.

Bluebirds’ goalkeeper James Gwilt will be delighted that he kept a clean sheet despite playing with a rearranged back four.
