Vikings slay league leaders Swifts plus there were wins for Carew, Narberth and Pennar Robins

Only four of the six games in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division went ahead on Saturday.

The Vikings were in rampant form with Jonathan Fawcett (2), Ashley Bevan (2), Cameron Thomas and Gareth Fawcett all finding the back of the net for the on-fire Vikings. Jimmy Wilkes scored the Swifts only goal.

Carew narrowly defeated arch-rival Merlins Bridge 2-1 at home. Frazer Findlay scored early before Joe Leahy equalised for The Wizards. Veteran Jack Christopher slotted home a second half winner as Chris Ormond was sent off leaving the visitors down to ten-men.

Neyland narrowly lost 2-3 at home against Narberth. Max Bowman-Davies and Jason Griffiths scored for The Nomads, but the visitors secured the points thanks to goals scored by Ben John, Ben Stevens and Lloyd Hughes.

Bottom of the table Saundersfoot Sports lost heavily 1-6 at home against Pennar Robins. Bagging the goals for The Robins were a brace apiece for Craig Asparassa, Tom Grimwood, plus one each for Josh Clarke and Sam Southcott.

Fishguard Sports v Goodwick United and St Clears v Clarbeston Road were both postponed.
