Goals were the order of the day with 49 scored in total in the seven matches played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League on Saturday.
Tenby were convincingly beaten
4-9 by Hakin United, The Vikings scorers were Nicky Woodrow 3, Alex Ouzman 2, Adam John, Steve Hartley, Ryan Wilson and Bradley Barrett, The Seasiders replied with a Daryl Mansbridge hat-trick and Jack Christopher struck. With other results going Hakin’s way, The Vikings have gone three points clear at the top of the table.
West Dragons narrowly won
2-1 against close neighbours Merlins Bridge, Dorian Davies gave the homesters the lead, but Jordan Raymond equalised for The Wizards, but an own goal settled the result in The Dragons’ favour.
Angle drew
3-3 with Goodwick United at Windmill Lane, Connor Willis, Nick Willis and Chris Richards netted for the homesters, whilst Scott Delaney, Jonny Horgan and Adam Raymond scored for the visitors.
Milford United were soundly beaten
1-4 at home against Carew, Dany Raicu scored The Robins’ solitary goal, whilst the visitors secured the victory with goals by Alex Bayley 2, James Hinchliffe and Jordan Richards.
Second from bottom Narberth gained an important
4-2 win at home against Pennar Robins. Bagging the goals for The Bluebirds were Dafydd Wright 2, Dylan Davies and Carl Jones. Phil Thompson scored a brace for The Robins.
Lamphey drew
2-2 at home against derby rivals Monkton Swifts, Billy Davis netted a brace for The Stags, and Blake James and Dan Scourfield netted for The Swifts, with both teams settling for a point.
Neyland won
8-4 against relegated Johnston in a high-scoring affair at the Athletic Ground. The Nomads’ scorers were Geraint Rees 3, Justin Harding 2, Scott Jones, Joe Charlton and Nathan Warlow, The Tigers replied with goals from Ryan Doyle 2, Scott Patterson, and Lewis George.
