Remarkably games go ahead despite a lot of flooding around the county

Despite heavy rain which flooded many parts of the county, incredibly there were still two games played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division and two Senior Cup ties.

Goodwick United thrashed Narberth 6-0 at Phoenix Park. The goal scorers were Luke Raymond, Jordan Griffiths, Kieran O’Brien, Wayne O’Sullivan, Lee Hudgell and an own goal.

In the south county derby, Pennar Robins lost 0-3 against Monkton Swifts at Bush Camp. Finding the back of the net for the Swifts were Jake Seaton, Dylan Davies and an own goal.

Senior Cup, first round, Carew narrowly beat Johnston 2-1. Scott Ferney scored a brace for the Rooks, whilst Ryan Doyle netted for the Tigers.

Senior Cup, second round, Lamphey were thrashed at home 1-11 against holders Hakin United. Nicky Woodrow 4, Justin Harding 3, Daniel Armstrong 2, and Adam John 2, scored for the on fire Vikings. Evan Stansford scored a consolation goal for the Stags.

Division Three, Milford Athletic lost 1-6 against Pennar Robins 2nds at Pill Lane. Jack Sullivan 3, Craig Asparassa 2 and Josh Watts netted for the Robins, and Gareth Quirk scored Athletic’s solitary goal.

Solva won 5-4 against St Florence at home. Solva’s goals were shared by Tyler Page, Aaron Foster, Will Griffiths, James Griffiths and Goncalo Rocha. Jay Kennedy netted four times for the beaten visitors.

Division Five, Lettgerston 2nds lost 2-5 at home to Carew Thirds. Liam Robb and Stuart Morrell scored for the homesters, but the Rooks third string secured the points with goals from Herbie Haggar 3, James Warrell and Josh Lewis.
