There were four Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division games and two Senior Cup second round ties played on Saturday.

Monkton Swifts defeated Saundersfoot Sports 3-0 at home to go a point clear at the top of the table. The Swifts were well on top and their goals were shared by Chris Richards, Shaun Jones and Ben Steele.

Hakin United got back to winning ways with a comfortable 4-0 victory against St Clears at the Obs. Nicky Woodrow 2, Justin Harding and Craig Nicholson found the back of the net for the Vikings.

Neyland narrowly lost 0-1 against Milford United at the Athletic Ground. This was the Robins’ first win of the season thanks to Liam Parr scoring the only goal midway through the second half of a hard fought clash.

Pennar Robins narrowly lost 1-2 against Clarbeston Road at Bush Camp. Sam Southcott netted for the Robins, but the Road secured the victory with a brace scored by striker Sean Seymour-Davies.

There were no surprises in the Senior Cup second round ties. Narberth lost 1-4 at home against Carew. Ben John gave the Bluebirds the lead, but the Rooks hit back with goals from Jordan Richards 2, Lloyd Hughes and Scott Ferney to march into the quarter-finals.

Merlins Bridge strolled past Herbrandston with a convincing 5-1 victory at the Racecourse. Adam Hawkins 2, Nathan Greene, Joe Leahy and Ashley Beck netted for the Wizards, and Scott Reid scored in vain for the visitors.
