Five games were completed and one postponed in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.

In the match of the day, Merlins Bridge lost 1-5 at home against Monkton Swifts. This was the Wizards’ first league defeat of the season, Joey Leahy bagged his side’s only goal, but the Swifts bagged the points thanks to Ben Steele’s stunning hat-trick and one apiece from Thomas Powell and Jimmy Russell.

Herbrandston were convincingly beaten 0-5 at home against league leaders Goodwick United. Stephen Dockerty scored a brace with team-mates Scott Delaney scoring from the spot and Chris O’Sullivan and Kieran O’Brien also finding the back of the net.

Nicky Woodrow 3, Justin Harding 2, Craig Nicholson and Shane Walsh all scored to help Hakin United to a comfortable 7-0 victory against Neyland at the Obs.

Saundersfoot won 4-2 at home against Milford United. The Sports’ goals were shared by Nicky Cope, Richard Cope, Jake Webster and Rhys Hewson. In reply, Ashley Mathias struck a brace for the Robins.

St Clears narrowly won 3-2 at home against Clarbeston Road. Nathan Evans scored twice and Jonny Thomas also hit the back of the net to secure the points for the Saints; Ben John struck a well-taken brace for the visitors.

Carew v Pennar Robins was postponed.
