There were six matches played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.

Morgan Scourfield wins an aerial battle for CarewThere  was  a high scoring affair at the Athletic Ground, where Neyland lost 0-9 at home to unbeaten league pace setters Hakin United, bagging the goals for the Vikings was top notch striker Nicky Woodrow who scored a magnificent seven alongside one apiece for Ben Steele and Ryan Wilson.

The biggest winning margin of the afternoon was at Carew where The Rooks won 11-0 against struggling Johnston. Scott Ferney netted four alongside a brace for Jordan Richards and one each for Iwan Izzard, Henry Macbeth, James Hinchliffe and a penalty by Shaun Whitfield completed the rout.

Angle were beaten 0-3 at Windmill Lane against Merlins Bridge, the Wizards’ goal scorers were Jordan Raymond, Will Haworth and Steve McNabney.

Monkton Swifts lost 2-4 at home against arch rivals Lamphey, Nico Morrison, Ross Fortune, Mikey Davis and Sam Southcott scored for The Stags, and Ben Adams and Jason Finnegan netted for the the home outfit.

Pennar Robins lost 1-3 at home against Narberth, Sean O’Neill, Tony Evans and Ben John netted for The Bluebirds and Connor Roberts scored a consolation for the homesters.

Tenby were narrowly defeated 2-3 against West Dragons at The Clicketts, Sam Christopher and Daryl Mansbridge scored for The Seasiders, but the visitors secured the points with goals from Ashley Williams, Dorian Davies and Paul Jones.
