There were only two matches played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.
Goodwick United won
4-1 against Angle at Phoenix Park and are currently placed third in the table, on same points as second placed Merlins Bridge who have better goal difference. Hakin stay two points clear at the top and have the comfort of games in hand. Scoring for Goodwick were Jonny Horgan, Anthony Couzens, Tony Evans and Adam Raymond.
Merlins Bridge was leading 3-1 against Milford United when referee Gareth Elliott abandoned the game in the 62
nd minute. At that stage Joe Leahy had scored two and Ashley Beck had struck for The Wizards, Dany Raicu replied for The Robins, but the result will not stand and the game will be replayed later in the season.
Hakin United v Monkton Swifts; Johnston v Pennar Robins; Narberth v Carew and Tenby v Lamphey were all casualties of the wet weather.
Two of our teams were scheduled to play in the West Wales Intermediate Cup fourth round, Cwm Wanderers v West Dragons and Neyland v CRC Rangers were also both postponed due to waterlogged pitches and will be replayed next Saturday, 11
th February.
