There were no less than 43 goals scored in seven games played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.

There was a brace each for Jack Christopher, Scott Ferney, James Hinchliffe, and one for Sam Christopher, as Carew won 7-0 at home against Herbrandston.

League leaders, Goodwick United comfortably won 5-0 against Pennar Robins at Phoenix Park. Grabbing the goals for the homesters were Lee Hudgell (2), Jonny Horgan, Jordan Griffiths and an own goal.

Justin Harding (2) and Ben Fawcett scored to help Hakin United secure a 3-0 victory against Narberth at The Obs.

Jason Evans and Josh Sture netted in vain for Lamphey who lost 2-3 at home against West Dragons, Liam Sheehan (2), and Scott Crawford netted to secure the points for the visitors.

Merlins Bridge thrashed poor Angle 12-0 at The Racecourse. Leading the rout for the Wizards was impressive striker Joe Leahy who bagged seven alongside goals by Luke Hayward (2), Nathan Greene (2), Joey George and player boss Nathan Thomas.

Bottom of the table, Milford United drew 3-3 with Neyland at Marble Hall. Liam Parr (2) and Aaron Griffiths netted for The Robins, but the visitors secured a point thanks to Geraint Rees (2), and Mikey Chandler who found the back of the onion bag for The Nomads.

Monkton Swifts slipped to a disappointing 1-3 home defeat at the hands of Clarbeston Road. Shaun Jones gave The Swifts the lead, but Clarby hit back with goals from Jason Griffiths (2), and Steff Thomas.
