County Cricket Club present their trophies at annual lunch
The Pembroke County Cricket Club held their Annual Presentation on Sunday 22 October at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby, in the form of a lunch, instead of the usual dinner.
78 people attended and the after-lunch speaker was Robert Jones, the Ex Welsh Rugby Union International who is also a director of Thomas Carroll, the league’s sponsors. He proposed the toast to the County Cricket Club and assisted in the presentation of various awards to:
Winners of Division One (Carew), Division Two (Llangwm) and Division Three (Cresselly, who were all presented with their trophies.
The winners of the Duggie Morris Cup (Whitland) and Ormond Youth Cup (Carew/Saundersfoot) were also presented with their cups.
The junior batting award was presented to Tom Mansbridge (Saundersfoot) and the junior bowling award went to George James (Hook)
The winner of the George Cole Cup, which is awarded to the overall player of the year, was won by Daniel Sutton of Johnston, who unfortunately was unable to attend.
