Christmas/New Year’s Quiz

RESULT and CORRECT ANSWERS

We hope that you enjoyed our Christmas Quiz, with its pictures of sportsmen in unusual poses – and the winner of the competition was Whitland Cricket Club scorer Janice Webb (28/32), closely followed by Bernie Armstrong, the popular Goodwick United AFC manager (27), and Janice’s better half Paul, the top Whitland CC all-rounder (24). David Gibbs, the sporting pundit from Templeton, was top of them all but his entry arrived too late for inclusion!

Well done to all three of you and since it is Christmas we will eventually sort out a present for the two runners-up, as well as the smashing book for Janice by Jim Bowen called ‘Just another Mzungu passing through’. Our picture shows Janice and Paul Webb receiving the book, plus two tickets for the Scarlets versus Gwent Dragons match, from. PembrokeshireSport.co.uk editor Bill Carne. Well done girl!
