Beat the Expert - Week 4 : fixtures for 28th January 2012
Daisy keeps his cool to beat The Expert
Daisy Picton was 'over the moon' after he drew 4-4 with The Expert after Saturday's final week of predictions to claim an overall 15-13 victory. "It was a stroll in the park," said cool Daisy. "I have beaten him twice and he cheated the last time we met. So it's true cheats never prosper." The Expert was gracious in defeat by saying, "Fair play that flower beat me fair and square. He rode his luck at times, but over four weeks he thoroughly deserved to win and bath in his moment of glory." Proud Daisy will now receive his "I beat The Expert" tee-shirt which he has promised to wear in Ireland where he is travelling on a free trip with some friends from Milford Haven to watch Wales play rugby in the RBS Six Nations opener in Dublin next week. Not that Daisy has any clue about rugby but his pals will sure to have a headache - not from the beer that they will drink but from the story telling of how he thrashed the so called Expert!

Daisy Picton continued to show his true grit as he sneaked another point on The Expert to take a two-point advantage into the final week of their tipping duel where the Hakin United stalwart is adamant that he will beat our resident ‘Mr Grumpy’
With a series of draws last Saturday which saw David Albert Isaac Samuel Yosser Picton win by just 3-2, the stage is set for a grandstand finale where The Expert is looking for a chink in our floral friend’s armour to claw his way back into contention.
There were even louder groans from those keeping an eye on Daisy’s progress at Hakin’s headquarters (and his pals at Manderwood’s) because although they love Daisy to bits he chats about his tipping skills to such an extent that they disappear round corners when he comes into view.
“I’ve spoken to some of his work colleagues this week,” said The Expert, “and they same the same thing – please make sure Daisy doesn’t win!”
Our resident ‘Mr Grumpy’ was still typically confident as he added,
“ Roll on Saturday evening and we’ll see if Blossom can stay cool enough to win – but I think this week’s fixtures will test him to the full – and I’m gunning for him now the pressure has built up!”
Dashing Daisy’s Forecasts:
Division One:
Clarbeston Road 3 - Neyland 1
These two sides haven’t been at their best but Neyland have really dipped in form so I think Clarbie will win.Goodwick United 2 - Tenby 0
Goodwick are fourth at the moment and will be eager to finish in the top three so I think they will be too strong at home against Tenby.Hakin United 4 - Pennar Robins 2
We conceded three goals in the second half last week and I think the Robins are good enough to grab a couple of goals at The Obs – but I’m sure we will score a couple more!Johnston 3 - Solva 0
Solva are in the relegation danger zone and I think Johnston will have too much fire-power for them at Glebelands.Merlins Bridge 3 - Hundleton 1
The Bridge are in good nick and with Hundleton in the bottom three this looks like another win for Merlins Bridge.Milford United 1 - Narberth 3
Narberth are currently seventh and although they lack consistency they should be too strong overall for bottom-placed Milford United.Monkton Swifts 3 - Haverfordwest County 2
The Swifts are fifth and Haverfordwest County are 12th but although I think the Swifts will win I still think it might be closer than the form book suggests.The Expert’s Scorecasts:
