Medals galore at Phoenix Gymnastics’ Invitational
Haverfordwest Gymnastics Club recently ventured to Cardiff to compete in the Phoenix Open Invitation Competition, and there were some excellent performances. There were 3 levels (A, B and C) in which the gymnasts could enter and every gymnast performed on vault, floor and trampette.
The following gymnasts received medals:
Level A- Under 7
Scarlett Morris (3rd on vault and 6th overall)
Seren James (4th on floor, 2nd on trampette and 3rd overall)
Gwen Dodd (1st on trampette and 2nd overall)
Level B- Under 7
Ellen Dalling (1st on floor, 1st on trampette, 2nd on vault and overall champion)
Level A- Under 9
Shanita Davis (1st on vault, 4th on trampette and 4th overall)
Lowri Boorman (2nd on vault and 5th overall)
Louise Mear (4th on floor, 2nd on trampette and 2nd overall)
Katie Richards (2nd on vault, 1st on trampette and overall champion)
Level B- Under 9
Josie Dodd (2nd on trampette)
Isla Davies (4th on vault, 1st on trampette and 2nd overall)
Level C- Under 9
Lauren Watts (3rd on floor, 1st on vault, 3rd on trampette and overall champion)
Level A- Under 11
Amy McDonald (1st on floor, 2nd on vault, 4th on trampette and overall Champion)
Level B- Under 11
Katie Crimmings (3rd on vault, 1st on trampette and 3rd overall)
Emee Miline (4th on floor, 2nd on trampette and 4th overall)
Level C- Under 11
Hawys Davies (1st on floor, 3rd on vault, 2nd on trampette and 3rd overall)
Sara Storrow (2nd on floor, 1st on vault, 2nd on trampette and overall champion)
Level B- 12+
Jadie Davis (2nd on floor)
Ceri Evans (3rd on floor, 4th on vault, 1st on trampette and 2nd overall)
Level C- 12+
Mared Cooke (3rd on floor and 4th on trampette)
Sophie Storrow (4th on floor, 1st on vault, 4th on trampette and overall champion)
These are fantastic results and the Club is very proud of all the gymnasts took part. Well done.
