Fishguard & Goodwick Tennis Juniors

are Pembrokeshire Champions

Members of the talented Fishguard & Tennis Club’s successful junior teams; celebrating their Pembrokeshire Tennis League championship wins in Mini Green, U12 and U14 divisions.Fishguard & Goodwick tennis juniors finished the season as Pembrokeshire League Champions in the Mini Green, Under 12s and Under 14s divisions – and this talented squad of juniors also dominated the individual County Tournament back in July.

Their success is the result of hard work and regular coaching at weekly club sessions on Monday evenings.

The club is looking forward to the opening of the new Phoenix Centre, which will provide a much needed base. The club’s juniors meet every Monday 4 – 7pm, formerly at the old school courts, but now at the new Phoenix Courts. Once the Centre is fully open the club is looking to expand its membership; including the introduction of a winter floodlight competition, a full junior training programme and Thursday evening adult classes.

Outside of designated club matches and classes, members will be entitled to free use of the new courts; whilst non- members will be able to hire courts, through a telephone booking system, once the Phoenix Centre is fully operational. If you are interested in joining the club – and beginners are very welcome – just pop down on a Monday evening.
