James bowls a bronze!
A Pembrokeshire teenager won a bronze medal at the first-ever
Gemau Cymru event held in Cardiff recently as thirteen year old James Pugh, from Sir Thomas Picton School, competed in the Boccia event and won a bronze medal.
Gemau Cymru is a national schools multi-sports competition, which aims to capture the inspiration of the London 2012 Olympic Games and showcase young athletic talent.
Angela Miles, disability sport development officer for Sport Pembrokeshire, the County Council’s sports development arm, said it was a fantastic achievement by the youngster, who plays for the Crymych Panthers Boccia Club.
