Mickey and Wayne form new Bluebirds' Welsh League management team
Haverfordwest County has announced on the club’s website that Mickey Ellis and Wayne Jones have both been appointed to form a new management team.
Ellis is the manager, and Jones will act coach, as the pair prepare for life in Welsh League Division One next season.
Haverfordwest County is looking at stronger local based players for the squad with an emphasis of regaining Welsh Premier status as quickly as possible.
A club spokesman said: “Haverfordwest County AFC is pleased to announce their new management team to replace Derek Brazil who resigned at the end of the Welsh Premier League season.
“The new manager Michael Ellis, who currently holds a UEFA A license and is Haverfordwest born and bred, has worked within the Club’s coaching structure for the past thirteen years.
“Wayne Jones, who is also well known in West Wales footballing circles, has been appointed as coach having previously played for the Club in the Welsh Premier League.
“Derek Roberts will remain as 2nd team manager and Stephen Batty will continue as manager of the youth team.”
