Week three:

The Expert keeps his nose in front despite a draw with 'Priceless'

The Expert and 'Priceless' drew 4-4 in the third round of results. This means that The Expert clung onto his narrow 15-14 overall lead, that was the final Saturday of the season and The Expert is not happy that 'Priceless' has not had is full four weeks, that is rather unlucky for 'Priceless'- but once the final whistle is blown for the season, the person who is in front is normally declared the winner - so does this mean that 'Priceless' has lost just like his team surrendered the league crown? Watch this space.

Matthew Price is back and has vowed to beat the Expert againCan Matthew Price beat the Expert?

Priceless alleges foul play!

After drawing with The Expert on Saturday, Matthew Price told us.
“I am only just a point behind so there is still all to play for, and I hope he will be a gentleman and allow us two more rounds – this one and a midweek set of fixtures so I have a fair chance.
“I have heard a whisper from a footballing friend that The Expert has had the chance to see my forecasts before he makes his decisions but I hope he wouldn’t resort to such low tactics.”

When we put this allegation to our resident tipster he was unable to speak for five minutes because he was so outraged.
“I gave this young shaver a chance and that is the thanks I get. Tell him I could beat him with my eyes shut. If he wanted to he could see my predictions whenever he wanted – it would make no difference because I know so much more about local football than he does. Priceless obviously wants to play a few mind games because he is behind. What a blooming cheek!”

**Editor’s Note: We can understand The Expert’s outrage because although he is a little rude at times he is one of the few real gentlemen in local football – that’s why we invited him to do the job. We have never seen him so upset!

This week’s matches
(Results will appear here on Saturday):

Division One:

Haverfordwest County 2 - Kilgetty 2
Herbrandston 5 - Clarbeston Road 1
Hundleton 4 - Johnston 3
Merlins Bridge 4 - Pennar Robins 1

Tenby 3- Goodwick United 2

Priceless’s Forecasts:

Division One:

Haverfordwest County 5 - Kilgetty 1
Kilgetty have nothing to play for, and I think that this will be a comfortable win for Haverfordwest!

Herbrandston 1 - Clarbeston Road 1
This is tough to call, and so I am sitting on the fence here!

Hundleton 3 - Johnston 1
I am convinced that Hundleton will stay up, and a home win here is essential for them!)

Merlins Bridge 3 - Pennar Robins 1
We lost to Pennar earlier in the season, but, I think that we will have too much for them at the Racecourse.

Narberth 2 - Hakin United 4
Hakin have one hand on the trophy, and I think that they will win here!

Tenby 1 - Goodwick United 0
I think that Tenby can keep a clean sheet and win by the odd goal!
