Priceless and The Expert draw 3-3 after Saturday's results

The Expert and Priceless drew 3-3 after Saturday's second round of league results. But The Expert holds a narrow 11-10 overall lead with two weeks to go. "I'm in the driving seat and Priceless has it all do," taunted The Expert. "He will have to do much better next week if he's going to beat me!" So things could not be tighter and it will take a brave man to bet against The Expert giving up his slender advantage, and he intends to finish the season on a high.

Week 2:

Matthew Price is back and has vowed to beat the Expert againHas  Priceless’s confidence

been badly dented?

Matthew Price might have beaten The Expert last season but he now knows he is in a dogfight not to lose this time because although he pouched an excellent score of seven points in their first-round he still found himself a point behind our wounded old war horse!

The Expert growled,

“I have to say that ‘Priceless’ isn’t bad but he still needs to be taken down a peg or two and I’m your man for the job.

“He’ll have to start taking chances and that is when I’ll step in to build a lead. It’s no good him trying to get advice from other managers either because I’ve closed the gate in that respect, other than the one to his next door neighbour Derek Roberts – because I’ve just slammed him so he won’t be much use!”

Matthew Price told us,

“I know I’m a point adrift but I can soon catch that up. I did offer The Expert the chance to compete against me in Thursday night’s matches as well but he declined. I think he might be feeling the pace and two challenges in a week might be too much for the old boy!”

**Editor’s Note: The Expert did respond but we are unable to print what he said on a family web site like ours! **

This week’s matches (Results will appear here on Saturday):

Priceless’s Forecasts

Division One:

Goodwick 3 - Narberth 2
I think that Goodwick will win by the odd goal, which they have done on many occasions this season.

Hakin 4 - Solva 1
I would love an upset here so we could catch up a bit, but I cannot see it!

Johnston 1 - Hundleton 2
Hundleton are desperate to avoid the drop, and I think that they will battle to a win here.

Merlins Bridge 3 - Tenby 1
We are on a good run of form at the moment and I fancy us at the Racecourse! The loser of this game is out of the title race!

Neyland 1 - Herbrandston 2
Herbrandston may have a strong side out as they are fighting for survival so I’ll go for an away win.

Pennar 4 - Kilgetty 0
This should be a comfortable win for the Robins!
