Get well soon Simon

Rugby lovers in Pembrokeshire will have been sorry to see Simon Gardiner stretchered off the field as he played at prop for Llanelli Scarlets against Perpignan in the Heineken Cup clash in France.
Simon, who hails from Haverfordwest, had given his usual totally committed performance after being drafted into the squad following injuries to other more experienced props and playing really well in recent matches.
But then he sustained what appeared to be a nasty knee injury after 57 minutes when he seemed to twist when tackled and had to be carried from the field, clearly in great discomfort.

Simon will soon be celebrating his 21st birthday and is very young to be playing at this high level – and we at PembrokeshireSport.co.uk wish this modest and popular young man a speedy recovery and a quick return to action.
