Beat the Expert – Chris Tansey Week Three:

The Expert widens the gap at the top as Mr T scores a big fat nought!

Despite the weather severely disrupting the Division One programme, the Expert widened the gap to 17-10 after he again hammered Mr T 3-0. Mr T can safely say he is the first tipster to get a big fat nought! "I really do feel sorry for Mr T," said the Expert. " If I was him I would not want to go work and face the Manderwood Mob on Monday morning. At least he's been consistent and got steadily worse every week - never mind Mr T after next week's predictions all your pain and suffering will be over."

Mr T’s in trouble as The Expert shines again

The Expert is back in form, as he proved on Saturday when he widened the gap over Chris Tansey, the Manderwood boss, to a massive four points with just a week to go!

He was doubly delighted because he was only wide of the mark with one result, and told us;

“I would have had 100% if Mr T’s old team, Hakin United, had come up with the goods. On Saturday they were like him – hopeless!

“But now I’m back from my man flu and I would love to have been in the Manderwood office next Monday morning because his minions will be bound to give him stick because they beat me, although very luckily, and should be telling him so! But if he seeks their help this week, or gives Daisy Picton a ring, my mole in the camp will let me know.

“My spy in his family tells me that he spent all Sunday studying form for the coming Saturday but he would have been better joining his much better half on a trip to the new M & S shop in Haverfordwest for all the good it will do him. Then he swanned off to Paris for four days and was hoping to bump into Zinadine Zidane to ask advice – but he would know about as much about Pembrokeshire Football as Mr T!

“I did think about letting him off the hook a little but that stupid thought soon passed – and I forecast that Mr T will have to eat some more humble pie next week!

Chris Tansey’s Predictions

Division One:

Clarbeston Road 1 - Hakin United 3
Hakin need to bounce back from their awful result last week and should win here – but not by as big a margin as The Expert thinks!

Haverfordwest County 2 - Goodwick United 1
This is undoubtedly the match of the day as Goodwick travel to in-form Haverfordwest knowing that they need to tighten their defence after conceding four goals last Saturday. It should be close and I think home advantage will count.

Herbrandston 1 - Hundleton 1
This is where I hope to make up for lost ground because The Expert doesn’t do draws! It is bound to be close so I’ll sit on the fence and hope I also get the score right!

Merlins Bridge 3 - Johnston 0
Johnston are playing really well but the Bridge are strong at home so I think they will be comfortable winners.

Narberth 2 - Tenby 3
This is another match I hope to make up points. There should be plenty of goals from two attacking sides – but I think Tenby will just shade it!

Pennar 3 - Kilgetty 1
Pennar are hot favourites to win but I think Kilgetty might grab a goal if they play well. And that goal would be very important for me!

Solva 3 - Neyland 1
I have been under pressure in work to go for Neyland but have resisted that viewpoint because Solva are a different bunch at Maes y Mor so I have to go for them by two clear goals!
