Pembroke Cricket Club Annual Awards Dinner
On Friday the 12th November, Pembroke Cricket Club held its awards night dinner at The Coach House Hotel Pembroke, and there was a good turn out of players past and present, supporters and guests.
Those who attended enjoyed an excellent dinner of a high standard and thanks must go to the management and staff of The Coach House for their excellent service which all added to the enjoyment of the evening. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the awards to the players for the 2010 season.
The trophies were presented to the players by one of the club’s main sponsors, Jayne Smith, of Lyn-Jay Farm, who along with her brother Lyn spend their summer Saturday afternoons watching one of the Pembroke teams at the Treleet Ground.
The Club has only recently finished the refurbishment of the pavilion at the ground and now, thanks to Kevin Jenkins and his band of helpers, the pitch and facilities available are second to none in the County.
